Hello! My name is Mela Hammond and I am a senior at Central Michigan University studying entrepreneurship, professional sales, and management. I am a passionate learner and I love to try new things and meet new people! As a lifelong learner and carrier of useless knowledge, I love trivia and talking to experts who are crazy about their niche. I am always motivated to explore unique ideas, especially when it comes to social entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and the science of storytelling. My journey so far has been a mix of both classroom and real-world experience, where I've enjoyed incredible opportunities to dive into the realm of social impact and innovation. Being both fascinated and strongly influenced by design thinking, I believe that problem solving is meant to be a people-centric process. I am driven by the notion that meaningful change is only possible when we combine creativity with empathy.<br />
