==Bio==
Panashe is was born and raised in Zimbabwe, with brief periods spent living in South Africa and Eswatini. Since 2020, Panashe has been living in the Netherlands, pursuing a Zimbabwean student pursuing her bachelor's degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering at with a keen interest in the University of Twente (UT)energy transition and materials science. She was born in HarareIn her free time, Zimbabwe Panashe enjoys bouldering and briefly moved to Swaziland via ferratas, as well as cooking and South Africa during her early childhood. She now resides in baking, always on the Netherlandslookout for new recipes to try.
At UTOutside of academic pursuits, she Panashe has been actively involved with in several extracurricular activities. She chaired the student sustainability associationon campus, SUSTAIN, focusing on sustainability and has served as chair of environmental challenges through an intersectional lens to ensure that the board. She is interested most vulnerable are included in sustainability and its application in and beyond the environment by introducing more conversations about intersectionality and the socio-economic sustainabilityclimate crisis. In addition Panashe also contributed to thisthe creation of the first edition of the Green Guide Enschede, she has enjoyed collaborating with a resource for local and sustainable shops, restaurants, and natural areas. Additionally, as the External Affairs Officer for the various bodies on campus Civil Engineering Symposium, Panashe helped organize an annual event for civil engineering students, which included lectures, seminars, and networking opportunities with industry professionals, all conducted in a stake in these topicshybrid manner due to the global pandemic.
Her academic interest==UIF Projects==Panashe's include involvement in University Innovation Fellows (UIF) projects has been extensive and impactful. She co-developed the role that infrastructure plays "Meet and Greet Street" project to help students reconnect on societal behaviourcampus after the pandemic, as well as climate-proof buildings in sub-Saharan Africausing conversation starter cards and hosting speed dating events. In June 2022, Panashe is also interested in the development policies helped organize Pride 2022, aimed at educating and strategies for this region in increasing allyship within the face of climate changeLGBTQ+ community through various events. These interests have sparked curiosity She also served as team lead in the role that tertiary education plays Leaders of Innovation and how young people can lead these changesImpact/European Meetup 2022, which included lectures, networking sessions, and a crisis simulation, culminating in an excursion to Amsterdam.
UltimatelyCollaborating with GreenHub Twente, Panasheco-designed the Sustainability Thinktank, guiding participants through the design thinking process to address the university's interests sustainability challenges. This initiative provided a platform for students to present their ideas to university leaders and pursuits are to hopefully contribute further develop their winning solutions. In 2023, Panashe worked with the cohort from Hamburg University of Technology to co-create a planet that is safer (socially2-day Design Thinking program themed "The Digital Campus, economically " which included intense sessions and physically) for all who reside social activities in itEnschede's city center.
==Achievements==2018 - Yale Young Global Scholar (SDSE) She served as Team Coordinator for UIF Twente fellows from September 2022 to April 2024.
2019 - President Most recently, Panashe was involved in organizing the 2024 UIF Meetup at Twente, a significant event that brought 350 participants to Enschede for four days of Hellenic Academy Interact Society  2019 - Secretary General of Hellenic Academy Model United Nations  2020 - Chair of Sustain boardworkshops, keynotes, and vibrant energy. This event was recognized with the highest sustainability award from the university for its efforts to reduce environmental impact. Panashe's dedication to innovation, sustainability, and community building continues to make a lasting impact on her campus and beyond.
