Today, he is one of the most knowledgeable students of Design Thinking at Tohoku University. He has given Design Thinking workshops to over 300 students on campus and mentors several students.

He served as the head of the mountain club from the summer of 2017 through the summer of 2018. He grew the club to 63 members, nearly double the previous number, making it the largest club in the high school. He was responsible for deciphering maps and weather maps at competitions and educating the girls' team at nationals in 2018 and 2019.

He joined the festival management team at the urging of his friends. He was in charge of the planning that took place in the auditorium and the band stage. The theme song project he planned has continued to this day.

TIDE is an organization composed mainly of students who have completed the UIF program to transform Tohoku University by themselves. He is one of the founding members and the first president of TIDE. The Tohoku University Innovation Festival, which he led, raised 500,000 yen through crowdfunding and was successfully held. Currently, this event continues as one of the Tohoku University Festival programs.

Tohoku University has created a student public relations team, in which the students themselves do the public relations for the students. He is an early member and leader of the team. The Tohoku University website carries articles created by the team, and on Twitter they post information for students that they have collected on their own.

One of the most active students at Tohoku University, he was interviewed independently by the School of Engineering. He reflects on his activities from the time of his matriculation through his third year of undergraduate studies. He also talks about how he envisions his career in the future.
