<div>Rodrigo López is a University Innovation Fellow candidate and an undergraduate student of Telematics Engineering at Universidad de Montevideo from the 2019 Fall Cohort. Always being curious </div><div>He was always passionate about wanting to know how machines, everything worked: from an expender machine to large computer systems or economic systems, society so naturally he was closer over time with these topics and the world worked, he started his career in 2017major. He is very passionate about education, and he is also an assistant teacher in subjects like Robotics or Coding. During wants to make a difference at his free campus, one step at a time, . It was precisely following this dream that he likes came across the UIF initiative and immediately wanted to help new students whenever he can and think about new projects for the university.<br/>get involved!<br/></div><div>Since then, he was very younghas taken part in events such as LOOP: the innovation week, Rodrigo was very keen on sports, music, technology, maths and making people laughan international meetup hosted at his university. He plays the drums since he was 6 years old, responsible for logistics and listens to music for about three hours a dayrelations with international students. He is always thinking of crazy ideas to believed that everyone could make a change no matter if the world belonged to a better place specific group such as UIF or not if they tried hard enough. Currently, he is learning about AI and willing started a blog to accept new challengesshow its uses in education, although he has a very critical thinking senseand the ethical concerns that implies. He really believes that in order to have a good idea you have to think the potential of lots of bad ideas firstthe program, but so he hopes one of them one day will make has become a difference for his surroundings, the society, or maybe the world, who knows?</div><div><br/>Faculty Champion and always tries to be as much involved as he can to help students in reaching their potential too!</div>
