<div>Lara von Däniken is a former University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student studying who holds a Bachelors in Design Management International with a focus in [[File:LVD.jpg|thumb]]communication at from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (also called Hochschule Luzern or HSLU), and a Masters in International Business from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Design Management is one of the newest bachelor programs at HSLU refers to creative problem solving, innovating new products, services, experiences and is described systems, as well as follows:</div><div>''“Design is the act and improving user experiences in all types of making deliberate improvements and solving problemsorganizations through a system-oriented approach. Design management, on The International Business program equips students with the other hand, refers necessary skills to the activities within organizations that support the design process. This can involve leading a design team (advise multinational corporations on topics such as at a design agency or department)internationalization, applying design methods to other areas internallymergers, or developing a culture internally that focuses on solving problemscorporate strategy and transformation.” (source: HSLU)''<div></div><div></div><div><br/></div><div>Lara grew up close to Basel and moved to Lucerne as soon as her studies at HSLU started. Already during the first year of the bachelor Bachelors program, she was exposed to the University Innovation Fellows program during a public event called “Design Managers Manager’s Talk” at HSLU. </div><div><br/></div><div>At HSLU, Lara has been in the role of the student’s counsellor during the entire first year. Afterwards, She then successfully participated in the second year, she joined the student association lead team which represents the whole bachelor UIF program “Design Management International”, and from which aims to improve the DMI student experiences at HSLUshe graduated as a fellow in 2020.</div><div><br/></div><div>One of the reasons why Lara chose to study Design Management International, is because of the international context. Her passion is to work solve complex problems and challenges in an international environment and getting to know , surrounded by people from different cultures and backgrounds. This is also why she chose to work in different countries, such as Singapore, Ecuador or the UK and speaks six different languages.</div><div><br/></div><div>Besides the universityApart from her academic career, Lara offers consultancy to started her professional career at a Swiss insurance, followed by a startJunior Consultant role focused on customer experience and innovation. Then, she worked in Cloud Strategy for UK-up based SMEs, and for a multinational consumer goods company, specialized in touchpoint managementthe area of organization design and people change. Today, Lara works at Accenture in order to improve customer experiences the area of operating model and drive forward an innovative and agile cultureorganization design within the CFO & Enterprise Value practice.
