My name is Britnee McCauley. I am from Plainfield, Illinois where I grew up my entire life. I earned my associate's degree in Business Administration at Joliet Junior College. I moved to Maryland in 2020 where I started attending Bowie State University to work on my pursue a bachelor's degreein Business Administration. I chose a major in business because I developed a passion for it at an early age, since I was surrounded by my family's owned alarm service company growing up. I also have a passion for education. I believe that the more knowledge we gain, the more we learn about the world and how to better ourselves. I know if I would have stayed in Illinois I would have been limited to the resources of my environment. I have since found a greater appreciation for travel as it has led me to a HBCU where I am able to dive deeper into my culture. My goal is to help make a difference in secondary education by teaching business skills to the younger generations, so that they learn valuable lessons that will help them when they become independent.
