Jake Coddington is an American entrepreneur, currently serving as both Managing Partner of Sprekk Supply Group and Owner of Codd Interactive. Sprekk Supply Group is an independent medical device distributor with a focus on neuromodulation and prescription spinal bracing. Codd Interactive is a multimedia and web design company.
Jake graduated with his MBA from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in 2020, where he was named a 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar<ref>https://news.siu.edu/2019/09/092519-coddington-named-forbes-under-30-scholar.php</ref> and served as the president of Saluki Entrepreneur Corps student organization, building the group from 0 to 25 active members. The group hosted speakers and networking events with prominent entrepreneurs such as Curt Jones - Founder of Dippin' Dots, Archa Jain - Cofounder/CEO of Lumos (Y-Combinator W19), and Peter Gregory - Founder of BSquare.
Through the University Innovation Fellows program, he was given the opportunity to travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Stanford University for innovation and design thinking workshops. In partnership with fellow UIF [[Fellow:Carly Kasicki|Carly Kasicki]], Jake created and co-taught the first student generated class at SIU-Carbondale, "Innovations in Sustainability". This project based class graduated 13 students and led to 4 new sustainability initiatives on campus.
Prior to his time at SIU Carbondale, Jake graduated from the University of Mississippi where he studied Managerial Finance and Marketing. At the University of Mississippi, Jake was a member of the Ole Miss Rebels Men's Division 1 basketball team and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) academic honor roll. He was also member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and student ambassador for the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Jake attended Three Rivers Community College for the first two years of his college career, where he was co-captain of a Three Rivers Raiders Men's basketball team that was ranked as high as #11 in country in 2014-2015. Jake He played under Gene Bess, the all-time winningest coach in college basketball history (1300 wins).<div><div>
