Haluk Ziya Tercan, who has a name which looks like a Turkish poet’s name [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halid_Ziya_U%C5%9Fakl%C4%B1gil Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil], is a student of the Civil Engineering Department at [http://www.boun.edu.tr/en-US/Index Boğaziçi University], Istanbul. He was in love with his university since his childhood, because it’s culture, history, and impact on society was amazing for him on the way to his goals. After long and hard studying times, having the chance of being a part of the Boğaziçi University has made his vision more clear. Now, he is able has a wide network to reach make changes in the right people when he needed for every little subjectworld.

In his future life, he has the dream of turning cities smarter, and more liveable by using data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies with his knowledge about on civil engineering. This dream includes many subtopics like renewable energies, green buildings, good working cleaning systems, more silence traffic, smart transportation etc. and Haluk is trying to improve himself about all these topics to create a movement in the next five years.

Haluk Ziya Tercan is also a part of many other projectswhich is about innovation in education and businesses, and would be happy to help it if you anybody needs help!

Haluk Ziya is always excited about being a changemaker, and in his first year in the university, he has tried to change the method of "education of new language" at university. He has informed the administration, and started a club activity to compensate for the lack of speaking training. Besides this, he realized that there is a massive wastage of resources at the dormitories, and started to calculate what resource is used where, and how much. Then he communicated with the administration of the dormitory to help them to fix the problem, but due to pandemic it has been interrupted. Moreover, he and his team in a program in univeristy university have worked on a project which aims to encourage students to involve the making decision making process processes about university. This project has also won been awarded in a competition in a project about making projects for universitiesafter Coronavirus.

Furthermore, in his professional career, he found demanded to work as a volunteer in a startup in which he likes the subject topic that they are working, and then demanded to work as a volunteer in their vision by on. By texting the co-founder on LinkedIn. Finally, he had the opportunity to be a product development intern since last year, August 2019. Now, he is leading a ten-person team in order to make the startup more innovative.
