Resource talk:How to start an engineering student club

To start a student’s club, first we have to know why we have to start and for whom it works. Later articulate the vision and mission of the club. Then, we have to find the needs that are required for the club and pool the like minded people. Then give a propaganda in the campus about the club and chalk out the activities. Set up goals. Later, we have to take permission from the academic Heads in order to implement the same. First of all, the application has to be probated and must consider the financial related issues. Then, we have to promote the use of the club and start gaining supporters. Finally, we have to launch the club with the inauguration ceremony and inspire the students to join in the club.

Thank you for your resource!! I´m fascinated with your idea. I think it would be great to have a engineering club in my university for all that want something more than been graduated and work in a big company. Also it would be an excelent way to motivate students to be part of something with their classmates, giving a space could allows them to generate new ideas and encourage them to do great things.

From my perspective, what makes this topic interesting is how we can relate our academic goals to innovation. As mentioned in these paragraphs, some students had the mindset to experience new things after graduating and had some start-up ideas, but they didn't have the motivation and support to move on and work on their desires. But on the other hand, having a club filled with supportive members will inspire these students!
