Molly Carlson is a University Innovation Fellow at Wichita State University where she is also a senior studying biomedical engineering and German. She wishes to pursue a career in rehabilitation engineering with the dream of starting a rehabilitation hospital for injured child athletes.

As a fellow, Molly has participated in StartUp Grind WSU, Invent for the Planet, and cofounded the Wichita State University Innovation Fair. This fair brought student groups and local business together to explore the meaning of innovation and how all majors and disciplines use innovation. Using skills developed as a fellow, Molly is vice president of a student group that designs and prints prosthetics for Midwest citizens. She was also deputy project manager while apart of NASA and Arizona State University's Mission Concept Academy and project manager for NASA's Proposal and Writing Evaluation Experience. Outside of academics, she spends most of her free time running, rock climbing, or reading.
