Luke Atticus Kennard’s life mission is: “Love God. Love People; Inspire their significant contributions.” He believes that good ideas come from God and that if God wants something implemented on earth, it will happen—one way or another. Luke is passionate about making the world better by turning meaningful ideas into real, impactful solutions.

He was raised in a home that valued curiosity, creativity, and exploration. His mother taught him about nature, birds, and plants during long hikes, while his father fueled his love for innovation through science experiments and hands-on projects—from lemon batteries to hovercrafts. This foundation shaped Luke into a critical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems with simple, people-centered solutions.

Luke married Ashley Belnap, a fellow University Innovation Fellow and kindred creative spirit. Together, they share a love for innovation, family, and service. Their journey is grounded in faith, curiosity, and a shared commitment to using their talents for good.

Luke is a proud father, an FAA-certified pilot, and a passionate technologist. He once lived out his childhood dream of flying by working in the unmanned aircraft industry, testing autonomous drone systems for Loveland Innovations. He later pivoted into real estate and land development, helping families, investors, and communities build meaningful futures.

While earning his degree in Technology Management at Utah Valley University (Class of 2019), Luke made a lasting mark through the University Innovation Fellows program. He led and contributed to projects such as the UVU Landscape Canvas, the Innovation Incubator, Touring UVU (a VR campus tour), and co-founded the UVUIF club CIT (Chief Innovation Team).

He continues to blend design thinking into all areas of life—whether in his family’s creative “maker space,” in his entrepreneurial ventures, or in the way he mentors others. His son, Atticus, attended his first Regional UIF Meetup as a baby and has been proudly repping his future UIF onesie ever since.
