Fellow:Kyle Kopecky
Kyle Kopecky is a University Innovation Fellow and is a Junior at Wichita State University triple majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Economics in addition to the Dorothy & Bill Honors College Law & Public Policy Track. He is actively involved on campus through various organizations including Student Ambassador Society. Kyle had the opportunity to serve as the Honors Peer Academic Leader in student housing at WSU his Sophomore year and has began his early professional career with Koch Industries, Inc as a Tax Co-op/Intern that supported Koch’s fertilizer division. In Fall of 2017, Kyle studied abroad at City University of London’s Cass Business School to further his knowledge of Finance and Economics while having the opportunity to gain international work experience with Koch Supply & Trading, L.P.'s Metals Trading Desk. He is excited to join and be a contributor to the UIF community. His goals with the program are to expand his network and develop relationships with individuals from all walks of life while being a driver for change on Wichita State University's campus. In particular, he hopes to enhance WSU’s Finance program. This upcoming Summer of 2018, Kyle will be working in Deloitte’s San Diego Office as a Tax Intern. In his free time, Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends; staying active by working out, swimming, and playing golf; reading Finance articles and keeping up with the Financial Markets; and being a lifelong learner.
