Bio

Wei-Yi (Zoe) Lee is a learning experience designer and visual storyteller based in Taiwan, with ongoing engagements in Japan. She graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo and was part of Stanford’s University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program where she developed her interest in design thinking. With a background in social innovation and a deep commitment to educational equity, she has supported students as an ESL tutor, life coach, and facilitator of Heartfulness workshops for high schoolers. During her gap year, Zoe explored child-centered learning in Reggio-inspired preschools and worked with marginalized youth through outdoor education programs. She is especially drawn to designing learning experiences that foster belonging, authenticity, and self-compassion—the heart of Heartfulness.

Beyond the classroom, Zoe documents personal and collective journeys through writing and film, weaving stories that connect people across cultures and generations. She is passionate about reimagining education not as knowledge delivery, but as an invitation to grow, co-create, and become.
