Bio
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a 2021 University Innovation Fellow at Bucknell University and plan to major in Global Management. Hailing from Massachusetts, I'm obviously a Dunkin' Donuts aficionado and am passionate about the environment and advocating for individuals with special needs. At Bucknell, I am involved in Bison Pals, a group that helps build lasting friendships between individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, along with Student Government where I am the Vice-President of my class and help broadcast important information to the grade through our social media accounts. During my free time, I enjoy photography and videography. I also take photos for some of the sports teams at my school which has been such a great opportunity to meet people who I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. In order to enact more change on Bucknell's campus, I hope to create videos that inspire us to live more sustainable lives and to evoke emotions that make people want to help. I'm a self-proclaimed people person and love to have meaningful chats about any and every topic, whether it be why Dunkin' is leagues better than Starbucks or how to make a more eco-friendly campus!
Achievements
During my High School Junior year, I was fortunate enough to attend the Best Buddies International Leadership Conference at Indiana State University. This achievement is one of the most valuable experiences I've ever received. The conference taught me many unique perspectives to consider when being a leader along with hearing some of the most passionate speakers, some with IDDs themselves.
