Fellow:Ruba Nasser
Ruba Nasser, a member of the first Universty Innovation Fellows team at Khalifa Universiy, living in the United Arab Emirates and an electrical engineering graduate student.
She has exceptional passion for psychology, it helps her understand herself and those around her more. The number one reason behind Ruba majoring in electrical engineering is her curiosity to become knowledgeable in that field and to learn more about the development of artificial intelligence.
Ruba has also a great passion for teaching. Throughout her years as a student ,whether in junior high, high school or university , she keeps reflecting on the way the courses and subjects are being taught and developing thoughts and ideas about how teaching should and should not be.
Ruba is very happy to be a member of the first UIF team from KU . Her interest in improving higher education is born from her deepest belief that creating student centered learning experiences is every student's right. She is currently working on designing an active learning environment digital space in collaboration with the center of teaching and learning at her school. This Moodle based learning course includes different forms of content such as videos, learning quizzes ,hands on experience in the lab and learning surveys after every activity.
