Bio
Priyanshi Kedia is an aspiring social entrepreneur and a learner. She was brought up in Mumbai, India and completed her early education from there. Currently she is a undergraduate student at Kingston University and studies Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. She has worked as a support worker at the university and is a KU Student Ambassador. Her aim is to open an NGO in future to support women and people suffering from poor economic conditions.
Right now she is opening a business under YE organisation which encourages young people from South Asian communities in UK to embrace their identities and culture through relatable messages from Indian cinematic movies!
She believes that encouraging creative thinking in academic spheres can help a student to find real world problems and build upon that knowledge through critical thinking skills. She also has a love for books and volunteers at the nearby British Heart Foundation retail stores for book keeping. She also loved working in libraries back home!
Being a University Innovation Fellow has provided her with the opportunity to meet new people, who share her values and beliefs.
