Bio
Peter Musenge is a University Innovation Fellow and a graduate of Saint Augustine's University (SAU) in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he earned two Bachelor of Science degress in Biology and Engineering Mathematics. Hailing from Zambia, Peter was awarded a prestigious Presidential Scholarship in 2019 with the help of New Seasons Youth Program, enabling him to pursue his higher education at SAU.
Driven by his passion for science and technology, Peter is dedicated to research and development in these fields. He firmly believes that education serves as a powerful equalizer and that by empowering students with science and technology education, they can leverage innovation to make a meaningful impact on communities worldwide, particularly in underrepresented regions.
Peter actively engages in various leadership positions, both within and beyond the college campus. Notably, he was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at Saint Augustine's University, where he collaborates with esteemed leaders to spearhead the expansion of the institution through the transformative Reimagining SAU Initiative. Additionally, Peter has played a pivotal role in co-establishing the Falcon Flight Lab, an inclusive space fostering ideation, collaboration, and innovation.
Beyond academia, Peter finds inspiration in the pages of memoirs and self-help books, constantly seeking personal growth and development. He also enjoys engaging in sports and exploring his musical interests during his leisure time.
