Bio
Nurmukhamet Menlikul is a motivated Economics student at Lingnan University with a strong background in Physics and Mathematics from high school. This academic foundation has nurtured his analytical mindset and interest in understanding how logical and quantitative thinking apply to real-world economic situations.
Outside of his studies, Nurmukhamet leads a very active lifestyle. He practiced judo for three years, which helped him develop discipline, focus, and perseverance. Having played football throughout his childhood, he continues to enjoy sports and regularly takes part in running, hiking, dragon boat and tennis—activities that reflect his energy and determination to grow both physically and mentally.
In addition to sports, Nurmukhamet values creativity and culture. He plays the dombyra, the traditional instrument of Kazakhstan, which connects him to his heritage and expresses his appreciation for music.
He also has a deep passion for travel and exploration. Discovering new places and landscapes gives him inspiration, broadens his worldview, and strengthens his appreciation for diversity and the beauty of nature.
Achievements
Nurmukhamet has shown great dedication both in his studies and personal pursuits. He received a full-tuition scholarship at Lingnan University, recognizing his hard work and strong potential.
Outside the classroom, he’s also passionate about sports and has achieved impressive results in judo—winning third place at the Hong Kong Junior Judo Championship and second place in the Joint University Judo Competition. These experiences taught him perseverance, focus, and the importance of always pushing forward, qualities he carries into everything he does.
