Fellow:Jared Emerson

Jared Emerson is an electrical engineering student with a robotics concentration at Ohio Northern University. Growing up, he was always the question

kid who wanted to know everything about anything and how the world around him worked. As such, it only seemed natural that he chose engineering as his field of study when the time came in high school. Since then, he's been actively involved on his campus in organizations such as Theta Chi, IEEE, Robotic Football, Dean's Team, World Student Organization, and President's Club. Having great admiration for his small, but amazing campus at Ohio Northern, he wishes to give back to it in a lasting and monumental way for students and faculty alike.

Past being an avid and active student on campus, he also spent a year away on co-op with the Midmark Corporation, a medical device company in Versailles, OH. While there, he worked in Sustaining Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering gaining a very full and enriching experience with an amazing group of employees. With the knowledge gained in practical experience over that time, he wishes wish to spread what was learned what all his fellow students to best prepare them for the work ahead of them after graduation.

When he isn't busy with school related work though, he can often be found sipping coffee while enjoying a great book, listening and rocking out to some music, or playing video games and hanging out with his friends.
