Bio

Jade Harris is a first generation college student (classification: junior) studying Architecture and Environmental Design and aims to be a facilitator of change in her community, provide opportunities and give access to minorities and low-income areas. She is passionate about criminal justice reform, reform of the educational system, political reform, changing the stigma around mental health, and investing in low income/minority areas, businesses, and protecting the environment.

Ultimately, as an aspiring architect, Jade hopes to build up the national treasure that is Baltimore, design a mindfulness facility that has a new and improved strategy for treating mental complications, diseases and disorders, implementing a "moodseum" used as a research study on how the ambiance of a room (music, temperature of the room, color, lighting, furnishings etc.) can affect the senses and in turn production and inspiration which will help interior designers, architects and related fields learn how to maximize the materials used to design better schools, athletic facilities, concert halls etc. One day, she also hopes to design the new Hill Field House facility as a current student athlete for Morgan State University.

Hobbies: Painting, drawing, designing, roller skating, cooking, tumbling/cheering, working out
