Fellow:Jace C. Stokes
Jace C. is currently the President of the Kettering University’s Entrepreneur Society for the 2016 calendar year. Jace’s focus this year for the Kettering Entrepreneur Society is to expand membership by encouraging students to apply for tinkering seed grants. Membership is becoming more diversified due to KES funding students to attend Makeathon and other entrepreneurial events in the Greater Detroit Area. Additionally, Jace is the President of the Kettering University Trap & Skeet Team along with being a club representative for the Ethics Club on campus.
Jace continues to have a keen eye for opportunities to expand his entrepreneurial toolbelt. He enjoys hearing other students perspectives, and was quoted on the Kettering University Facebook Page as saying:
“The great thing about KES is having like-minded people. Your peers are not there to shoot down your idea, they assist you by critiquing and building on your idea from different perspectives you may not have originally thought about. I like to think of it as a diverse stock portfolio. All these different fluctuating stocks combined together build the strongest portfolio.”
