Bio
Estrella is an undergraduate student pursuing a BFA in photography and a minor in creative writing. She attends Utah Valley University, serves as a Fellow for the UVU Center for Social Impact, and is a member of the School of Arts BIPOC Committee. She is passionate about social impact and making art accessible to her BIPOC community.
This year, she assisted her friends in a community initiative, R.E.C.CLAIM UTAH, to help QTBIWOC rest, heal, and experience joy through the outdoors in Utah County. This initiative was created during a design thinking competition at her university. After this, Estrella learned how impactful the design thinking process could be to her communities.
