Emma Lee is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student studying Anthropology and Political Science and Union College, located in Schenectady, NY. Her hometown is Ridgefield, Connecticut, where she grew up and has lived her entire life. Emma was exposed to UIF her First Year and College through both campus emails and her friends who had been past fellows

At Union, Emma is involved with being a tour guide, an orientation advisor, member of an alumni networking group (The Garnet Society), and is a founding member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Besides classes and extracurriculars, Emma likes going to hot yoga classes, hitting the gym, painting, hanging out with her friends, and eating lots of ice cream.

Emma is interested in expanding Unions academic resources to students outside of the classroom and is determined to get more students active on campus. Changing the ecosystem of a school can be hard, but she thinks from her experience with orientation, the best place is to start with first-year students who can carry a creative and innovative mindset with them as they advance in college.
