Bio
David was born in Houston, TX, but has lived most of his life in the St Louis area. His parents are from Bogota, Colombia which he has visited many summers and has picked up fluency in Spanish from. He is currently working on a bachelor's in zoology and minors in Theatre and Spanish and plans to work towards achieving a doctorate in Zoology. He currently researches population genetics but is also interested in ecology, biodiversity, conservation, and phylogenetics. Outside of the life sciences, David also participates in both technical and performance theatre as well as Hispanic and Latino Cultural studies and events. He is interested in providing green performance and event spaces that can be used in eco-theatre and finding ways to present scientific information in more compelling and public formats.
