Cheyanne Wheat is a University Innovation candidate and undergraduate at the University of Tulsa (TU). She is

studying Computer Science and Computer Simulation and Gaming. She is very passionate about the future of technology and innovation.

At the University of Tulsa, she is involved in many extracurriculars. Cheyanne is a member of the Nova Fellowship, a interdisciplinary community where innovative students gather to create meaningful projects. She currently is working on two NOVA projects: a student map project and Oklahoma Young Entrepreneurs Awards. She also helped out with her school’s TEDx interviews and speaker selection. Lastly, she writes for the University Newspaper, The Collegian.

Before college, she attended Tulsa Tech half day at the Pre-Engineering Academy. This is where she was exposed to the deeper realms of technology, programming, and a design mindset. Tulsa Tech greatly influenced her decision to take the Computer Science route.

In the future, she hopes to work as a Software Engineer for a big company like Google.
