Dr. Charles M. Wood (Ph.D. University of Missouri) is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Tulsa. He has academic degrees in Engineering, Journalism, and Business, and worked for a dozen years in industry - as an engineer for a Fortune 10 firm, and as a founder of a successful stage production company and creative agency. To date Dr. Wood has published over 50 articles in both refereed journals and conference proceedings and he received a Fulbright Scholar Award to Ireland from the U.S. Department of State. He received a national teaching award from Houghton-Mifflin, and the top teaching award and top service award at The University of Tulsa. He has made presentations by invitation at SXSW, at major business conferences in India (AIMS), and in universities across India, Austria, Ireland, and Italy. He has guided his students through over 100 applied projects benefiting small businesses and non-profit organizations.
