Fellow:Carly Kasicki
Carly Kasicki is majoring in Biology, French, and German and minoring in Political Science and Chemistry. She has lived in Germany twice, backpacked Italy for two months, and lived in France for a month. She travels abroad because she believes that immersion and cultural understanding doesn't come from sitting behind a desk and learning about it. Carly is currently working at the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute and Vice President of the Institute Ambassadors. There she works on creating and helping with conferences, trips, and events that educate the public and students on politics and leadership. She is also working in a biology research lab studying the microbiome in frogs and starting her own research project involving epigenetics. One day, Carly hopes to use her knowledge in science to make further advancement in the scientific community and use her knowledge in business, medicine, international communities, and political science to create strong public policy for the world.
