Anne Rusher.jpg

Anne is an avid museum-goer, traveler, photographer, and designer. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Art in architectural design and minors in art history and studio art at James Madison University in Virginia. Anne currently works as a digital preservation assistant, where she has the opportunity to handle and document rare books, photographs, and posters. It is through this and a previous position as a gallery director of an undergraduate gallery that Anne has cultivated an interest in museum work, along with her passion of design and architecture. Anne's interest in art history and design have allowed her to study abroad in both Barcelona, Spain and Tokyo, Japan, where she studied and documented the architecture of the cities via photography and sketching. The experiences that Anne has had in college have inspired her to join the UIF program, as she hopes others will have access to similar opportunities that foster a lifelong love of learning.
