Fellow:Alexandra Cooper
Alexandra is a sophomore at Columbia University, and is planning on studying political science and art history. She is a native New Yorker, and grew up just across the park from Columbia. Alexandra first became passionate about design and innovation when she worked with individuals from IDEO, a design thinking and innovation firm, on an app for her high school. She continued to pursue this interest at Columbia where she participated in, and won, the 2017 EdTech Design Challenge. Her team received $20,000 to pilot the app they created, and Alexandra has since been working to develop her start-up. In addition to her interest in design and innvoation, Alexandra is passionate about art. She takes art classes, and frequently visits museums. Alexandra is looking forward to working with her team to bring innovation and design to Columbia's campus!
