Agustina Nacimiento is a University Innovation Fellow, and she is studying International Business at Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU). She currently lives in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. Growing up, she was always a curious girl, wanting to know everything and with the desire of discovering new things. She learned to play chess, the guitar and ukelele. Also, during high school she took part in a recreational course, where she went camping with kids, teaching them songs, games, and promoting their development of creativity.

As she had many different interests, it was hard to choose a career, but she finally decided to follow her interest in the international area, since she really enjoys learning about other countries, knowing their cultures, customs, and how they integrate with one another. Continuing with this path, she was thrilled  to participate in the UIF program, to have the opportunity to work among students from all over the world, who have creative ideas to solve our daily lives´ problems.

She participated in LOOP, an event organized by fellows in Uruguay, whose objective was to promote innovation among students in the region, and where she met inspiring fellows from different parts of Latin America. In the future, she hopes to travel and visit new countries, experiencing the different perspectives of life, and contributing to make the world a better place.
