Bio
I am a connector and learner with a background in higher education, experiential learning, and community and economic development. Originally from the Boston, MA area, my school and work has taken me from North Carolina to Ukraine, South Africa, and Italy, and has landed me in Northeast Ohio. I am currently enrolled in a PhD program at the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University where I am studying how universities can have a greater impact on communities by helping solve complex social challenges through transdisciplinary learning. My academic interests are in inter and transdisciplinary research, learning, and teaching; innovation in higher education; community-engaged learning; and anchor institutions. When I'm not being a full-time nerd, I am usually hiking, running, or eating my way through a new city.
