Bio

Johnny Desrosiers is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. He is involved in many clubs and organizations on campus as well. Johnny is the President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and plays on the club soccer team for Mines. He is also a Yerba Mate ambassador and shares Yerba Mate tea around campus.

Johnny knew he would pursue engineering when he was in high school. The SolidWorks class and the Technology Student Association (TSA) attributed to his skills in CAD engineering as a high school student. Johnny works as a teachers assistant and uses his CAD skills to help teach freshman SolidWorks in the Design 1 class.

Johnny is excited to be apart of the University Innovation Fellows because it is a great way to start making changes, especially as a college student. He believes that he can make the world a better place and the UIF team will help him accomplish this goal.

In his free time, Johnny likes to hit the ski slopes, play spike ball and ping pong with fellow fraternity brothers, and go golfing with his father.
