C. Shea Burch is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student studying Industrial Design at James Madison University (JMU). Shea is originally from the “center of the universe” Ashland, Virginia. Shea strives to be a maker giving meaning to the human experience, by using her skills in design thinking, her passion for creativity, and motivation for success, as a University Innovation Fellow.
Shea is involved in various organizations on campus, including the Industrial Designers Society of America, and Kappa Pi, an Art & Art History Honor Fraternity. In her spare time, she is working on her sketching skills or spending time with friends! Since becoming a fellow, Shea hopes to foster innovation and entrepreneurship on campus and provide students with opportunities that she was exposed to through this program!
