Hi There!I’m Kerry. I am a senior studying Engineering at James Madison University (Go Dukes!). For as long as I can remember, I have always been feverishly curious and eager to solve challenging problems which led me to pursue engineering. As a result, my passion for emerging technologies and solutions surfaced. As a project based engineer, I channel this energy into solving real world problems with creative, human-centeredsolutions.

I started my project based engineering career with my experience working on a biomedical engineering capstone team. I serve as the project manager on a team working towards creating a surgical tool that reduces operation time during scoliosis corrective surgery. Since then, I have recently completed an internship with Siemens Building Technologies in Boston, Ma working in technical sales of building automation systems. Although seemingly very different, I have loved working on both of these projects because they fueled my desire to make a positive impact, bettering the lives of patients and helping to create a more sustainable future.

In my spare time, you can find me at the best brunch spots in Harrisonburg, hiking with friends in the Shenandoah Valley, or obsessively researching flights to plan my next adventure. Thanks for visiting my page!
