Kim V Scott, PhD, PMP is an Assistant Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU). Areas of teaching include project management, entrepreneurship and leadership & teamwork. Prior to joining ECSU, Dr. Scott spent 20 years working for various government and corporate agencies as an engineer & project manager. Additionally, she is the Executive Director of MAP Community Development Corporation.

In 2019, Dr. Scott finished her PhD in Business Administration from Hampton University. Her research interests include the use of gaming in Innovation and Creativity, the Entrepreneurial Mindset of underserved populations and Rural Entrepreneurship Ecosystems.
