Bio
Trinh is an upcoming senior Global Development and Sustainability student at Lingnan University. She was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, but her passion for traveling always kept her exploring the world.
She took gap years before entering university, which brought her opportunities to experience different industries and somehow led to her having no narrow disciplinary specialist. During that period, she worked as an Eco-consultant for a non-governmental organization (NGO) called Zero Waste Saigon.
She also had experience in the retail and e-commerce industry as a Director Assistant at KVIC Partners. Trinh believes in a social enterprise model that combines workplace experiences that provide quality products/ services and attack social issues. Therefore, she is learning more about the operation, project management and gaining Edu-tech exposure at Coding Lab Singapore to build her interest in Edu-tech social enterprise.
She strives to work hard and play hard motte to grab every opportunity presented to her. Therefore she is also involved in a range of leadership and co-curricular activities in her free time, a member of the Global Young Leaders Network and Happy Teacher Foundation. Most of her extra-curricular activities center around education, raising awareness about biodiversity, quality education, and supporting kindergarten teachers in Vietnam.
Apart from all the formalities, Trinh enjoys traveling, backpacking, trekking, camping, and meditation. She always dives herself into nature - her most favorite healing zone, where she finds peace and joy.
