Beau Muniz is a Master’s of Science student at the University of Louisville studying Mechanical Engineering. A graduate of the University of Florida, Beau moved to Louisville to become a design engineer for GE Appliances in 2014. While he does occasionally miss the year round t-shirt weather, he’s excited about the opportunities to expand innovation and STEM education in his new home. In addition to his work as a University Innovations Fellow is a lead mentor of a FIRST High School Robotics Team, and founder of Empowering Future Engineers at the University of Louisville.
