As a University Innovation Fellow atConverse, her work focuses on introducing design thinking to performing, visual, and written arts students, promoting multi-disciplinary collaboration across diverse disciplines, and developing innovative thought and action within the student body.&nbsp;</span></span><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 18px;">&nbsp;In addition to winning national flute competitions and performing in orchestras and chamber ensembles in the US , Sri Lanka, and Germany, Sanuja has worked in music education, nonprofit management, concert productions, economic research, digital journalism, public relations, publishing, interfaith, diversity initiatives, and campus leadership in hopes of narrowing down "one" career path.</span><span class="details" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: tahoma, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: medium; margin: 0px 0px 10px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); line-height: 18px; display: inline-block;"><span class="ng-scope" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px&nbsp;">Converse College, a women's liberal arts college in South Carolina. She has won national flute competitions in Sri Lanka as well as at Converse, and performed at the Saarbug Music Festival in 2015. This summer, Sanuja organized a chamber recital and donated proceeds continues to education and health nonprofits. At Converse, Sanuja wears many hats in addition to music. She has served as the Chair of the Interfaith Councilpursue diverse, and is involved with the campus newspaper. She has worked for a music nonyet inter-profit, interned at a finance company and a publishing house, and helped direct a school orchestra in hopes of narrowing down her career path. Now, she has happily accepted the notion that it is indeed possible to be a flutist with diverse connected professional interests in colorful world.
