Jaime Arribas Starkey-El is a recent graduate of Morgan State University with a BS in Physics and Engineering Physics. During his time at Morgan he served as the President of the Society of Physics Students, captain of the quiz bowl team, a NASA student ambassador, board member for the entrepreneurship society, and a National Innovation Fellow. Jaime has a strong passion for the possibilities of creativity. He loves to learn, he loves to discover, and he always wants to know more. Jaime strives to increase innovative and entrepreneurial spirit by helping students unlock their creativity and exposing them to advantageous resources. He is also serving as a catalyst for the enhancement of innovation culture locally and nationally. He has represented the student voice at several events including American Physical Society conferences, the HBCU Innovation Summit, the APLU Student Success Summit, and the White House Maker Summit. Jaime believes innovation is the direct outcome of the freedom and opportunity to experiment. He strives to foster creativity and give students drive and motivation, domains in which many of them are malnourished.
