==Bio==
Alejandra is an advanced computer engineering student and a really motivated third year computer engineer studentactive and dynamic person. Her biggest belief is that having a good attitude it´s is important in every circumstance of life. Because of that she is full of energy and a hopeful person, which helps her to bounce back and persevere despite setbacks. She is an empathetic and committed person, who loves to help and really try truly tries to put herself in other people's shoes to achieve the other's understand their perspective. During the her first two years at the Catholic universityUniversity, she was chosen to represent her classmates in front of the university authorities, she . She had to raise the concerns, ideas, and problems of her classmatespeers. She also participated in a university program called Peer-Mentors, where she supported a group of students in their first -year students throughout their process of adapting to university life, telling informing them about all the centers/, areas , and activities of the university. NowCurrently works as a teacher's assistant in a first-year interdisciplinary engineering workshop. She enjoys helping students develop both soft and technical skills, cultivate their reflective abilities, and practice the engineering process, driven by a passion for student empowerment. Alejandra's path into the IT world started with an important step: enrolling in a software testing and transversal skills course. Her dedication led her to secure roles at two reputable Uruguayan companies, where she gained valuable transferable skills and experience. Currently, she brings her expertise and passion for software testing to another well-respected Uruguayan software company, GeneXus. Four years ago, she is became part of a group of young people who volunteer with children who are in a very critical contextfrom critically disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds. On Saturdays, every Saturday they prepare breakfast for the kids, organize games and activities for them to have funand cultivate human values. Alejandra is a spirited person who always wants to learn new things. She knows that every any knowledge she has, it would acquires will help her to solve a problem problems or make it easier to help with other people´s problems.Some years ago, she took a software testing and transversal skills course that allowed her to work in IT, in two well-known Uruguayan companies. That gave her more self-confidence and she learned to develop a spirit of sacrifice and commitment. Her greatest wish is to be able to contribute with her knowledge in technology to solve social and environmental problemsothers.
==Achievements==
She managed to overcome the shyness she had as a child. Now, she is sociable, she enjoys meeting new people, she loves feeling new emotions and living different experiences.Additionally, she had a hard time with oral presentatiosn and really wanted to improve, so she enrolled in an intensive summer course called "Effective Presentations".
