Hello! My name is Mela Hammond and I am a senior is an Entrepreneurship student at Central Michigan University who is also studying entrepreneurship, professional sales, Professional Sales and managementManagement. I am a passionate learner and I love to try new things and meet new people! As She is currently employed as a lifelong learner and carrier of useless knowledge, I love trivia and talking to experts who are crazy about their nichestudent coordinator for CMU's Financial Wellness Collaborative. I am always motivated to explore unique ideas, especially when it comes to social entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and She is also the science current president of storytellingCMU Women's Club Soccer.
My journey so far has been Mela grew up in Hartland, Michigan where she graduated from Hartland High School in 2022. As a mix of both classroom kid, Mela loved to play soccer, read, and real-world experiencewatch Jeopardy with her dad. Following her graduation from high school, where I've enjoyed incredible opportunities she was admitted to dive into the realm of Central Michigan University Honors Program as a Centralis Scholar and promptly enrolled in the 2026 cohort. After her graduation from CMU, Mela would love to work at a social impact and innovationstartup. Being both fascinated and strongly influenced by design thinkingAs a lifelong learner with an affinity for working with people, I believe that problem solving her dream is meant to be own a business of her own and make a people-centric processdifference in her community. I am driven by Some of the notion that meaningful change causes she is only possible when we combine creativity with empathypassionate about include financial literacy, the science of storytelling, and educational access. <br />
