Jake Coddington is first year MBA student and graduate assistant at the Office of Economic and Regional Development (OERD) at SIU-Carbonale. His primary responsibilites at the OERD include business consultation and market research for students and local business owners, heading the student business incubator program, and co-heading the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program.&nbsp;[[File:Jake CoddingtonHS.jpegjpg|nonealt=|200x150pxthumb|213x213px|Jake Coddington.jpeg]]Jake Coddington is also the president a Managing Partner of Saluki Entrepreneur CorpsSprekk Supply Group - a medical technology company, which focuses on enhancing it's members business and entreprenurship skills through workshops, competitions, Owner of Codd Interactive - a multimedia and networking eventsweb design company.&nbsp;<div>Prior to Jake graduated with his time at SIUMBA from Southern Illinois University -Carbondalein 2020, Jake graduated from the University of Mississippi with both where he was named a Managerial Finance and Marketing degree2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar<ref>https://news.siu.edu/2019/09/092519-coddington-named-forbes-under-30-scholar. At the University of Mississippi, Jake lettered in varsity basketball php</ref> and was on served as the Southeastern Conference (SEC) academic honor roll. He was a member president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, a Saluki Entrepreneur Corps student worker and ambassador in the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Tennesse Valley Authority fund manager, and a member of the financier's club, investments club, and entrepreneurship cluborganization.

Jake enjoys travelingThrough the University Innovation Fellows program, sports (especially basketball and football)he was given the opportunity to travel to Dubai, music, going to the moviesAbu Dhabi, and spending time Stanford University for innovation and design thinking workshops. In partnership with friends fellow UIF [[Fellow:Carly Kasicki|Carly Kasicki]], Jake created and familyco-taught the first student generated class at SIU-Carbondale, "Innovations in Sustainability". He hopes to one day start his own business This project based class graduated 13 students and travel&nbsp; led to many places around the world4 new sustainability initiatives on campus.<div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>
