Jake graduated with his MBA from Southern Illinois University -CarbonaleCarbondale in 2020, where he was named a 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar<ref>https://news. Jake also is php</ref> and served as the president of Saluki Entrepreneur Corps, which focuses on enhancing it's members business and entreprenurship skills through workshops, competitions, and networking eventsstudent organization.&nbsp;

Prior to his time at SIU-Carbondale, Jake graduated from Through the University of Mississippi with both a Managerial Finance and Marketing degree. At the University of MississippiInnovation Fellows program, Jake lettered in varsity basketball and he was on given the Southeastern Conference (SEC) academic honor roll. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternityopportunity to travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, a student worker and ambassador in the Center of Innovation Stanford University for innovation and Entrepreneurship, Tennesse Valley Authority fund managerdesign thinking workshops. In partnership with fellow UIF [[Fellow:Carly Kasicki|Carly Kasicki]], Jake created and a member of co-taught the financier's club, investments clubfirst student generated class at SIU-Carbondale, "Innovations in Sustainability".
