Bio
My name is Foziyah, and I am a first-year PhD student in Galway, currently serving as a lecturer in the Cardiac Technology department at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. Since childhood, I have embraced every learning opportunity, no matter how challenging, fostering a mindset of resilience and curiosity. My passion for healthcare, education, and innovation drives me to contribute both academically and professionally to the field of cardiac technology. Dedicated to continuous growth, I aim to blend my research with practical applications to improve patient care, outcomes, and the student learning experience across various fields and settings.
Achievements
Academic Achievements
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Cardiac Technology from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University with a Second Honorary Degree and a GPA of 4.49 out of 5 .
2.Master’s Degree in Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Thesis focused on the relationship between Quantitative Flow Ratio Values and Intravascular Ultrasound Parameters in patients with three-vessel disease .
Professional Achievements
1.Over 5 years of experience in cardiac technology, including roles as:
•Teaching Assistant in the Cardiac Technology Department at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University.
•Cardiovascular Technology Clinical Instructor and Invasive Cardiac Technologist at King Fahad Military Medical Complex .
2.Coordinator for Structural Heart Disease Interventions and CTO Procedures, managing multi-department coordination, procedural planning, and patient preparation .
3.Member of Eastern Province Interventional Cardiology Club and Saudi Cardiac Technology Society, participating in professional development and educational events .
