Daricia Wilkinson was born and raised in the twin island federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. She is now a rising Junior majoring in Information Systems and Technology at the University of the Virgin Islands. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree Ms. Wilkinson endeavors to acquire a PhD in Information Systems.  Specific areas of interests include website development, web design and mobile computing. Daricia has a strong passion for innovation and she is currently the president of the Innovation Club (UVIDEA) at UVI.  Additionally, similar to her role model the late Anita Borg, Daricia hopes to implement different programs that would strive towards a greater representation of women in technology.
