Living in an island is great, but also difficult. I live where you vacation, sure, but vacations are temporary. What happens to the relationships that are not temporary? Most of my family and friends are not even in my island anymore, but I am not standing around moping, I'm running around making. I have focused on making alternate realities to experience things that one would think impossible in the hopes that one day I might connect people in the very same way! This goal has led me to start my own virtual reality student organization at my university as well as doing research both in Puerto Rico and the States. Working hard as both an engineer and an art student to make a more connected reality a reality!
