Emmet Dettweiler grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, and is currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan in the College of Engineering. He is also heavily involved in entrepreneurial and business studies. His experience with entrepreneurship began with his lawn care business in high school: Master Mowing LLC. Master Mowing has grown since 2009 enough to become a fully-ensured year round operation with full-time employees. Emmet currently manages the East Lansing, Michigan-based business remotely from Ann Arbor. At the university, Emmet has worked closely with the Center for Entrepreneurship to launch a new entrepreneurship club, called M-trepreneurs on campus. The goal of the club was to allow entrepreneurially-minded students to come together in an environment that focuses on hands-on experience and collaboration as the key to entrepreneurial success.
