<span id="docs-internal-guid-bac1fb24-e4d0-0f30-1d23-1837dd9ba10f"><span style="font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); background-color: transparent; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Mary McGee is became a sophomore studying Psychology UIF in spring 2016 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is the founder of the grassroots organization the United Nations Association RSODuring her time there, which is she was able to create a humanitarian organization focusing on educating and supporting local and global communitiesresource guide for first-generation college students. In addition, Mary is also worked with and mentored the treasurer 2018 cohort of LifeSaversUIFs at SIU. Mary graduated in May 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Throughout her time at SIU, an organization focused on peer support and suicide prevention. Some of Mary discovered her passions are giving back to the community love for mentoring and supporting college students, which led to her peers--she volunteers pursuing a master's degree at the food pantry on campus and Colorado State University studying Student Affairs in Higher Education (expected May 2021). Mary is hoping currently working with UIFs at CSU to start volunteering as create a Rape Crisis Counselor in the Spring of 2017mentorship program that better supports first and second-year students. In addition, she Mary is an Academic Peer Advocate at Southern Illinois Universitypassionate about social justice, where she focuses on mentoring most specifically equity and encouraging residents in the residence halls to achieve their absolute best in schoolinclusion. Mary plans to graduate in the Spring of 2018 Once she graduates with a Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology. After thather master's, Mary hopes to attend the University of Michigan continue working as a student affairs professional to change and participate in their 4 year Masters of Social Work program, where she will spend two years in improve the Peace Corps helping develop healthy communities and then two years completing her MSWhigher education system while creating inclusive environments that support students with marginalized identities.</span></span>
