Relocating to Florida to solely to attend UNF, Evan immediately sought out ways to get involved by becoming the leader of two internationally focused organizations, [https://www.unf.edu/intlctr/IS/IS_Si_Intl_Ambassadors.aspx the International Ambassador Board] and [https://www.unf.edu/coggin/abroad/Coggin_Delegation.aspx Coggin Delegation]. This past summer Evan interned with U.S. Representative Anthony Brindisi (NY-22) and hopes to eventually work for the U.S. Department of State where he will work on specializing in foreign policy related to international environmental politics, energy security, and environmental migration. Evan is a board fellow with the [https://www.worldaffairscounciljax.org/ World Affairs Council of Jacksonville], an organization that he says has been critical to his personal and professional growth. He aspires to create a culture of change at UNF that is rooted in creativity, intellectual curiosity, and solving the real problems that impact both students as well as the local community.
