= Priority 1: Redesigning Curry Hall Exposing Jewell's Student Body to Kansas City's Thriving Startup Space =

Like many small, regional institutions in recent years, William Jewell recently hired a new president and her new focus is rebranding William JewellCollege has struggled with dwindling enrollment. RecentlyHowever, she approached our University Innovation Fellows group the student body of the college has maintained its collective penchant for innovation and asked us to rethink a massive space careers in our administration building entrepreneurship.  

We want theorize that connecting students at the college to make this area an extension of Kansas City's nationally recognized startup space will both benefit the Pryor Learning Center (a study building on campus). Refitting it with newer technologies, what the incoming current student body and signficantly boost future enrollment by attracting students what to have, interested in opportunies in innovation and what old students feel it needs. We also plan to propose using the vacant area above the floor to extend on the project even moreentrepreneurship.

At this career day, held preferably on a newly renovated Monday, Wednesday, or Friday during Jewell time when students are out of class, we intend to showcase student involvement opportunuties in the KC startup community, rising startups in the local startup space, an alumni entrepreneurship council, and furnished extension other related career information. This event would last the whole day with the intention of exposing William Jewell's students to career opportunities, information about both local and national entrepreneurship, and building an important connection between innovation and the students at the Pryor Learning Center in Curry Hall<br/></div><div><br/>college.&nbsp;</div><div><br/></div>
